AT&T alters policy, says customer TV, Internet data may be shared

I am shocked. SHOCKED!

AT&T Inc. is changing its privacy policy for Internet and television customers to specify that account information is a business record the company owns and can be disclosed to government and law enforcement and to protect the company's "legitimate business interests."

Bernanke in danger of establishing a reputation for muddle.(BUSINESS)

Give me a break. I think that Bernanke is establishing a reputation for sharing his thoughts to a greater degree than Greenspan, and I find it welcome.

There is a difference between uncertainty and confusion. One of the tasks of any monetary authority is to maintain a sense of uncertainty in financial markets, for it is that uncertainty that creates room for the central bank to manoeuvre.
To achieve impact it needs to be able to surprise. But it should not surprise the markets unless it intends to do so. If it seems to be stumbling around, unintentionally surprising the markets, it just creates confusion. Central banks need the markets to think they know ...

the dreamers

i just watched "the dreamers" and...this is not a joke...i was really moved

this movie is worth seeing. utterly unique, provocative, thought-provoking, interesting...

racy? you bet it is. eva green is absolutely smoking.

but in a way this is too bad. the movie is borderline pornographic--at first. then it goes beyond pornographic and into twisted, in a good, thought-provoking way. but the nudity makes this a difficult movie to watch with friends, even good friends

when you get a chance to watch a movie alone, watch this one
