Economy up 0.3% in Aug. head
It is said to see the Canadians talking about an increase of 0.3% in August economic activity, then saying that growth could slow if affected by slower US growth. When has the Canadian economy every been independent from the US economy? They may as well stop talking about their 0.3% expansion right now.
Gains in the services and goods industries boosted Canadian economic activity by 0.3 per cent in August -- its best showing in six months -- but economists warn growth could slow down in coming months, dragged down by a weakening U.S. economy.
